The Vellore CMC Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a matching gift campaign to fund ten scholarships to the CMC College of Nursing (CON).
Please help us reach our $30,000 goal to support ten deserving scholars.
The Foundation has a commitment from the United Methodist Women’s Association to match “dollar –for –dollar” every gift given up to $15,000 by December 1st, 2019.
Meet Ms. Josephine J, a hardworking, respectful and passionate first year student doing her B.Sc in Nursing at CMC. Josephine comes from a family that has struggled to make ends meet after the untimely death of her father in 2007 from a heart attack. Since then, she has been depending on support from her 82-year-old grandmother to cover her educational and other daily expenses. An education from a top institution in India would have seemed out of question, but thanks to scholarship support from sponsors like United Methodist Women, Josephine is on her way to realizing her dream of becoming a nurse

- Your gift of $1,460 would provide the funds needed for a full 4-year nursing scholarship.
- Your gift of $730 would provide the funds needed for a 2-year nursing scholarship.
- Your gift of $365 would provide the funds needed for a 1-year nursing scholarship.
