Dr. Madhukar Pai is the Canada Research Chair in Translational Epidemiology and Global Health. He is also the Associate Director for the McGill International TB Centre and is a prestigious professor at McGill University in Canada. He did his medical training at Vellore CMC and completed his Ph.D. in epidemiology at UC Berkeley and his postdoctoral fellowship at UCSF. Dr. Pai is also on the SAGE-IVD committee of the World Health Organization, Geneva, Scientific Advisory Committee of FIND, Geneva, and the Access Advisory Committee of TB Alliance, New York. He is the chair of the Public-Private Mix (PPM) Working Group of the Stop TB Partnership. He is in many publications, including TheIn addition, the Lancet of Infectious Diseases, PLoS Medicine, and BMJ Global health, and others.
