Dr. Priya Sampathkumar is a critical care and infectious disease specialist and an internist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She received her MB BS at Madras University before completing her Rotary Internship at Vellore CMC. She was a resident in internal medicine at the University of North Dakota and completed fellowships in infectious disease and critical care medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She is board-certified in critical care medicine, infectious disease, and internal medicine. She has been given numerous awards for her excellence in teamwork, quality improvement, and patient safety and quality. She serves as a member of the COVID 19 India Guidelines External Advisory Panel and an Expert Contributor for the Infectious Diseases Society of America COVID-19 Real-time Learning Network.
