10th Dr. Ida S. Scudder Humanitarian Oration
On the 10th anniversary of the Dr. Ida S. Scudder Humanitarian Oration, we were delighted to honor Mr. Azim Premji, business magnate, engineer, and philanthropist. Reputed to be one of the world’s most successful and inspirational leaders, Mr. Premji has shown that living ethically, always doing what he believes to be the right thing and practicing values that are selfless when few people do so, is not an unattainable goal. These values and his personal austerity, humility and simplicity in every facet of his life make Mr. Premji eminently worthy to be linked with the name of our beloved founder, through the award of the 2021 Dr. Ida S. Scudder Humanitarian Oration.
