A Collaboration that Resulted in a Decrease in Cervical Cancer Fatalities by 35%
The Foundation’s premiere alliance organization, Weill Cornell Medical College, in partnership with CMC’s Rural Unit for Health and Social Affairs, has sponsored a cervical cancer screening program that has been running for nearly 20 years and has reduced Tamil Nadu’s cervical cancer mortality rate by more than 35 percent.
A Shared Vision Ushers in New Educational Possibilities
In 2018, a new alliance was formed between the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and CMC. Through our relationship with Dr. Susan Taylor, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at MCW, MCW and CMC formally collaborated on education, research, and patient care.
CMC and Tufts Continue Collaborations on Education and Medical Research
In 2019, CMC and Tufts University School of Medicine renewed a longstanding medical research and education collaborative partnership, signing an Agreement of Affiliation that continued its 30-year partnership. The agreement ensures the continuation of ongoing programs of exchange and collaboration in areas of shared interests and benefits.
