Join us for our inaugural 5K Run/Walk on Saturday September 6, 2025. Walk, jog, or race your way through a day of impact, inspiration, and fun. You can get involved in many different ways – sign up for the race, become a fundraiser or support a participant. Let’s go the distance—from Edison to India—together!
1. REGISTER
Join us for the ‘Dash-or-Dally 5K’ – a race for all ages and paces! Register as an individual, with your family, or part of a team. We have special rates for children and seniors. All participants shall receive a T-shirt and medal, with special award for top finishers.
2. FUNDRAISE
Multiply your impact by becoming a fundraiser for the Dash-or-Dally 5K! Invite friends and family to support your race and help advance health and healing through the Vellore CMC Foundation. Exciting prizes await as you reach key fundraising milestones—every dollar makes a difference!
3. SUPPORT
Support your friend, family member, or teammate in their Dash-or-Dally 5K journey by making a donation to their fundraising efforts. Every little contribution ensures the delivery of high-quality, affordable care to India’s underserved communities.

Hosted by New Dover UMC, the “Dash or Dally 5K” is a community-driven event to raise vital funds for the Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore, India—one of the country’s top healthcare institutions— to help deliver lifesaving care to underserved communities.
We are dedicated to ensuring that your charitable contributions go towards healthcare solutions that make a difference in India -whether it’s a project to prevent cervical cancer in rural women or the construction of a new pediatric hospital, or scholarships for deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds – your support helps transform lives!
