It’s a teaching philosophy that began with Ida Scudder’s first hands-on lessons to her student assistants in Vellore’s roadside clinics. Every CMC student leaves the classroom to spend time in the most isolated villages in Vellore and in the Mission Hospitals all over India. For young doctors, nurses, and allied health specialists-in training, this is extraordinary clinical experience.
