We are thrilled to congratulate Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore on the monumental $60 million commitment from the Azim Premji Foundation to build a new medical college at the Chittoor campus. Azim Premji, a renowned philanthropist and business leader, has long been a supporter of transformative initiatives. We are especially proud to recall that he was the distinguished honoree of the 10th annual Ida S. Scudder Humanitarian Oration, an initiative of the Vellore CMC Foundation and CMC Vellore that celebrates individuals who embody Dr. Scudder’s legacy of compassion and service.
This new medical college will significantly expand CMC’s reach, enabling the next generation of healthcare professionals to receive top-tier education and training in a state-of-the-art facility.
